More than two and half year has passed since the outbreak of COVID-19. This pandemic has hit hardest on the underprivileged communities with unprecedented mental and financial challenges especially in the shortages of food, clothing and transportation expenses; thus causing a lot of stress amongst these families.
In view of this, Lions Club of Central would like to organise a series of projects to promote positive reading through online and offline events to help needy single parents and families to strengthen love, care, hope and self-confidence in their families.
Training these parents with storytelling skill can help them to effectively communicate with their children and improve their relationship.
On the other hand, through professionally trained Central members and volunteers team to tell stories to children and possibly train the students to be good storytellers can also help them build confidence and generate positive energy among these families.
